This page explains what personal data Tartu Padel Community processes and why. The community is a non-profit initiative and data is never sold or shared with third parties.

What we collect
Tournament registration happens in the Telegram bot. The bot stores your Telegram account identifier, first and last name, email address, chosen skill level and language, and your tournament results. The website itself collects nothing — there are no accounts, no forms and no cookies here.
What is public, and on what basis
The site shows tournament information and the season ranking. The ranking lists each player's first and last name alongside their points and the number of tournaments played. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)): publishing results is inherent to running a competition, and a ranking without names is not a ranking. We deliberately do not ask for your consent to this — entry to a tournament must not depend on whether you allow your name to be published. Instead you have the right to object, see below. Participant lists for individual tournaments are not published: only the number of spots taken. No email addresses, phone numbers or Telegram usernames ever reach the site.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no cookies and no tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own server rather than an external service, so your IP address is not passed to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to restrict its processing. The one that matters most here is the **right to object** (GDPR art. 21): if you would rather not be named in the public ranking, open the bot, go to 📝 My Profile → “Name in ranking” and hide it. Your points are kept, your name is replaced with “Player”, and the change reaches the site within 15 minutes. You can also just message us on Telegram. For full deletion of your data, get in touch the same way.
Players under 18
TPC tournaments are currently played by adults. If a player is under 18, please tell us: we do not publish a minor's first and last name in the public ranking unless a parent has separately agreed to it. Such a player appears in the ranking without a name.
